Hair Glossary

A type of comb that usually has widely spaced teeth. Picks come in all sizes, shapes and materials from metal to plastic. Picks, especially plastic ones, can be used to detangle wet hair. Metal picks can be used to "pick out" a hairstyle to give it more fullness. Always select a pick that has smooth "teeth" to prevent unnecessary ripping, pulling or tearing of hair.
