I recently had a hair cut, and the salon had temporarily run out of my favorite styling stick. I asked for a similar product, and was offered American Crew Pomade for Hold and Shine. You know me--I'm always willing to try something new!
Hair Boutique Note: Although American Crew was originally designed to be used for men, it is also used by a large number of women who find the products to be excellent.
This is a thick pomade; so thick in fact that the finger marks I left in the jar one day remained until the next. American Crew Pomade for Hold and Shine comes in a brown plastic jar with tan lettering which is very hard to read. However, this won't be a problem for you because I already strained my own eyes reading it and have listed the ingredients here for you! The cost at the Salon was $12.95 per jar. (USD). CAUTION: For external use only. Avoid eye area.
While the pomade is not as waxy as a styling stick, it has a great texture, leaves no residue in the hair, and holds a hairdo well.
On my own scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, I give American Crew Pomade for Hold and Shine a 9.
